(unizh) Die Universität Zürich bietet erstmals eine Vorlesung als Video-Podcast öffentlich und kostenlos an. Seit letzter Woche lässt sich im Rahmen des interaktiven Lehrganges Corporate Finance (Finanzierung und Investition) die Vorlesung von Prof. Rudolf Volkart versuchsweise als Video-Podcast herunterladen und auf einem iPod mit Videofunktion anschauen.

(ilounge) Fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld will release a video podcast of his fall/winter ‘06 line through iTunes following the close of New York Fashion Week on Friday, February 10. “The runway show will be taped in HD and edited on-site using Final Cut Pro editing software with Motion-based graphics added in a near real-time process,” explains the Lagerfeld fashion house. “This innovative process allows for not only HD output used at the event, but also for video podcasting of the show, which will be available for download via iTunes that evening. This will be the first time a designer has brought fashion and technology together in this revolutionary way.” Lagerfeld is known as an excessive iPod fan with a collection of more than 70 various iPod models as of 2004.
